Stellar Classification: O4If(n)p-blue supergiant 

Background Information: This star belongs to the Puppis constellation. Zeta Puppis is more than 10,000 times brighter than our sun and is the 62nd brightest star from the perspective of Earth. The name of constellation Puppus means "poop deck," which is the rear of a ship. Puppus was once part of a larger constellation name Argo Navis that represented a ship.
