Background Information: Pollux belongs to the Gemini constellation and is the brightest star in the constellation. Pollux is about two times the mass and nine times the radius of our sun. Gemini is a zodiac constellation and means "twins" in Latin and is named after the twins "Castor " and "Pollux" in Greek mythology.
