Background: W Orionis belongs to the Orion constellation and is about 5,000 times brighter than our sun. In addition, the diameter of the star is about 1-2 times the distance from the Earth to our sun. The constellation Orion (the hunter) is recognized by three stars in a row that form Orion's belt.
