SU Andromedae


Star: SU Andromedae
Stellar Classification: C5II - supergiant carbon star (pulsating)

Background Information: SU Andromedae belongs to the Andromeda constellation and its brightness varies from Earth's perspective since it pulsates. In addition, the constellation Andromeda is north of the celestial equator and is most visible during fall evenings. Plus, Andromeda is one of the largest constellations in the sky(1,400x the size of a full moon).
